today i start training in sg edi!! in my school.. their basic traning is every wednesday and fri.. but i cannot tahan la dat one super boring.. so i told the captain i wanna go for the sparring one onli.. which is every sunday 10am to 12pm.. and the person teaching will be an ex-national player of sg..
so today i went there.. onli i noe is informal training.. meaning dun have to wear uniform.. basically everybody is wearing half uniform..
ok.. so i started to do some target kicking first.. the captain was holding the target for me.. (coz basically i onli know him).. haha.. but den after dat he have to go and take care of the pomsae team.. so i was left there.. nothin to do..
den there is this few guys who were doin some target kicking at one side.. including this ex national player.. den one guy came over and asked me if i wanna join them.. and i was like.. ok la sui bian..
so i joined them in the target kicking.. we did side step.. direct front leg.. 360.. double.. and coz some of the guys there are not good in some techniques (which i'm quite ok in it).. so they kept kena teased by the others..
oh ya forget to tell u all sth.. out of all the ppl who were there today.. i'm the onli girl who's in the sparring team.. others all boys.. i think some of the girls din come today.. but it's not like there were no girls there today la.. but they are in the poomsae team..
hmm.. so after the target kicking.. we rested for awhile.. den we did some shutter run plus kicking thing.. it's like this.. 3 person.. 2 person holding targets.. 1 person kicks..
initially.. the 2 target holders will stand near to the kicker.. so the person kicking has to do 2 turning kicks.. not double.. just turning den follow up.. den turn back to another person to do the same thing.. we have to do 10 times 2 sets.. 1 time is onli counted when u finish both sides..
and after u kick the target.. the person holding the target will step back 2 steps.. so the distance between the the 2 target holders will get further and further.. and the one kicking will have to run to the other side to kick.. den run back to another person..
wa dat thing is kinda tiring lo.. i always hate shutter runs.. remind me of mr omar's shutter dun in the gym.. waaaa..
ok.. so den after we rest.. next thing is sparring.. we all wear vest and guards la.. their vest is oso smas de.. but kinda old edi.. and in sg their gloves are onli compulsory this year.. actually is compulsory for the coming tournament.. so basically they have no gloves.. and when i took mine out they were like.. waaaa.. hahaha..
ok.. so becoz there are no girls.. so i have to spar wif the guys lo.. but oso normal la.. i think we did 1 person 2 minutes.. but there are not many ppl there oso la so not many sets..
ok.. i'm quite satisfied wif my performance.. coz it's like i edi one month never training.. but my standard din drop alot la.. ^^.. and the guys there are not so good la.. except 1 but ok onli.. the ex national guy din spar wif us.. he just sat there and watched us and time..
but i still did my old mistakes lo.. like stand there after kicking.. din use left leg.. i'll have to keep remind myself not to do it..
anyway today i got quite alot of bruises.. my arm got kicked.. pain when i pressed now.. and my right calf.. dunno y lo very pain when i walked.. i think kena kicked there but i so dunno how come can kena there..
kk so this is my training in sg.. oh ya.. actually the ppl here are not dat bad when i get to noe them.. quite funny.. but mayb coz they have the banyak cool banyak zhuai look like xiao fei!!! haha..
